Award Information

Deadline: January 27th, 2021, 11:59 PM (AST)

Value: $4500 (16-week term)

Requirements:

  • Be registered in a bachelor’s degree at an eligible institution

  • Have obtained at least a cumulative average of B-

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

 

Application Process

  1. What are you passionate about? think about the kind of research you would be Interested in and search for local labs/professors/institutions conducting science in that field.

  2. Whose research stands out to you? Contact a professor who’s research you find Interesting and inquire if they are open to summer internships. If they are, apply to an NSERC award together.

  3. How do you navigate the online application?

    • Go to the NSERC USRA website and click “On-Line System Login”

    • Make an account and complete “Form 202, Part i”

    • send your reference number to your potential supervisor
