Position Title: ASRJ Internal Affairs Director (2)

Position Description
The Internal Affairs Director fosters a sense of community within the ASRJ by leading initiatives and activities directly related to members, and maintaining and improving online platforms. As Internal Affairs Director, you will be responsible for managing various social media accounts held by the ASRJ and bridging the gap between the Board of Directors and the members. The Internal Affairs Director should be an excellent communicator who enjoys connecting people and has creative ideas on the promotion of ASRJ initiatives.
This is a 1 year position.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Developing social events and newsletters for the members alongside the Event director(s). These events should focus on forming a sense of belongingness and cohesiveness within the ASRJ.
Sending reminders to members about general meetings and events
Keeping meeting minutes
Posting all articles, initiatives and events on relevant social media platforms (i.e. instagram, facebook, twitter, linkedin)
Creating and posting social media initiatives (i.e. good study spot series, prize draws, and fundraisers)
Leading the design of new logos and branding items if necessary
